November 2014

Jessie got a new bed and bedding for her room.  Her special "Sister Sherry" as yaya calls her and now Jensie does as well had a gorgous antique bed that she gave to Jensie.  Yaya got her new sheets and some special pillows that Jensie just loves.  Her room went back to the soft pink and Jensie is so happy with everything.  She sleeps great there, but sometimes she might get out after I tuck her in and play dress up.  Jackson went to a University of Tennessee game with his dad, David and Trent.  They had a great guys night out.  Jackson didn't have any orange so we had to go shopping.  Jasper is crawling around lots and loves the normal baby stuff, remote controls, outlets, the fireplace, pretty much anything dangerous.  He is such a sweet baby and Jackson and Jensie are both so good to him.  Ama, Lolo, and Meemo came up for Thanksgiving and the kids got to spend some quality time with them.  Lolo held Jasper most of the time.   Jensie insisted on wearing her favorite pink princess dress on picture day.  Her photos turned out pretty cute.  Take a look at some photos of November.

October 2014

    

Jackson went to his first UGA game and the whole family enjoyed our trip to Athens so much.  Meemo met us there and took the kids to the cookie shop that was open till 3:00 am.  Halloween was fun and pretty easy.  October has been a month.  Take a look at some photos.

September 2014

Jackson ran the Savage Race for the first time and did awesome.  He loved it!  We were very proud of him.  Jensie can't wait till she can do it.  Jensie has been cooking lots in the kitchen.  She loves school.  She has been doing gymnastics and soccer. She just loves to stay busy.  Every night before bedtime she asks what we are going to do the next day. Jasper is growing, laughing and amazed at all the action going on around him.  Take a look at photos

August 2014

We have really started to adjust to a new schedule.  Jackson gets up early and goes to school all day, we miss him around here.  Jensie goes to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  She still loves kindermusik and we've added gymnastics to her schedule this fall.  Jasper enjoys what little quite time he has and is excited to play in his exersauser.  Jensie has been sleeping in her own bed all by herself, we are so thankful.  We enjoyed 2nd sunday as always.  It was Jensie's first trip down the river, she only fell in once.  Uncle Billy and Pop were there to help her out.  I went along but was in charge of Jackson, which was pretty easy.  Yaya had Jasper.  I think he was good, but I for sure had the easiest job.  My dearest friend, Wendy, came to visit and it was a wonderful time with her beautiful and sweet kids.  I wish we could see more of them.  Take a look at the photos.

First Day of School!

Lots of firsts.  Jackson's first day of 2nd grade.  Jensie's first day of parent's day out and Jasper has started to roll over.  He is growing so much.  He weighs about 17 lbs.

Summer 2014

Jackson spent the first part of summer getting over mono.  He spent several weeks with his Amma, Lolo and Meemo.  They took him to Universal and Lego Land.  He got to meet many cousins from the Philippines and some that live in California.  He also got to spend some good time with Valor, Atlas, and Merit.  Jensie went to Blue Ridge a lot while Jackson was gone.  She helped me with Jasper.  We all went to the beach and had a great time.  Jensie loved having her time with Meemo.  Jensie had a little princess party with just family that lives in town.  Jackson did all kind of stuff for his birthday.  He went to lego Land Atlanta with his buddy Garrett, who also has a birthday in July.  Sarah surprised him on his birthday and took him to the movies.  Yaya decorated her kitchen and Jackson took a cookie cake to share with his cousins, Ella, Atticus, Finn, Truman, Rowan, and Mia.  Finn and Mia have birthdays in August so we celebrated a bunch of birthdays up at Mari and Papa's.  Jasper went to his 2 month appointment and weighed 14 lb 3 oz. May 2014- Jackson's Big Month--

May has been a very busy month.  It has been especially interesting for Jackson.  He started the month off with Grandparents Day at his school where they have the annual Art contest.  Jackson missed most of the week at school but made it to spend the day with Yaya and see that he had won 1st place.  We were shocked.  Then the very next week he was awarded a very special award from his school.  It is called the Blessed Virgin Mary Award, this award basically goes to the child who shows great character with his love for others, this was no surprise to me.  I knew ahead of time and was trying not to go into labor so I could be there when it was presented to him.  His religion teacher was praying that I would not go into labor so I told Yaya that I think her prayers were trumpeted and that I was not going to have a baby before Friday the 9th.  I got to see Jackson get his award and then the next day another one of Jackson's prayers were answered, he had a new baby brother.  Crazy time for us, but so wonderful to have a new little one to love.  We finally took Jackson to the doctor and they told us he had Mono. He has probably had it for a while.  So, May was a big month for Jackson.  He has a new favorite game, Qwirkle, thanks to Mari.  I loved seeing his great aunts playing with him.  Jasper has had lots of visitors and pretty much acts like a newborn.  Jensie is really enjoying being a big sister.  She'll tell you that Jasper is her baby.  She helps me out the best way she knows how.  Take a look at photos from May.

It's A Boy! Meet Jasper Michael Aseron born May 10, 2014

Jasper Michael Aseron was born May 10, 2014 at 1:18 pm.  He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21" long.    Everyone was surprised to have a little boy, Jackson was thrilled and said he knew it was boy.  Take a look at a few photos of Jasper's first week.  

March & April 2014 Jackson & Jensie

Jensie loves Frozen the movie and can sing many of the songs.  She is independent as ever.  She says she is the princess, which is normal for little girls, but she also says that she is the Emperor.  Jackson loves, loves, loves his legos.  He is also into the super heroes, Batman is his favorite, Jensie then wants to be batgirl.  We celebrated Yaya's birthday in Blue Ridge.  We had a very nice Easter.  For spring break we went to wilderness at the smokies with our friends.  Garrett and Jackson rode all the rides together and Jensie and Jenna played very well together.  We had a great time and it was so good for us to get away for a few days before we become a family of 5.  Take a look at the photos of Jackson and Jensie.

We had several snow days this winter, which is fun for the kids, but so hard to get everyone dressed when I can't fit in my own snow pants right now.   We took Jackson to see the Lego movie, then he had to take Sarah to go see it in 3D, I let Michael take them, just don't think 3D sounds great.  Pictures of Jackson and Jensie.
