Boy Scout Camping, Disney & Halloween 2013

October was such a fun month for us.  Meemo went to Jackson's class field trip to the pumpkin patch farm.  Pop and I took Jackson on a weekend camping trip with the boy scouts and had a great time.  Our big trip was to Disney and I was so surprised at what an awesome time we all had.  Jensie loved Magic Kingdom and Jackson's favorite was Universal.  Jensie loved the fact that she could see Cinderella's castle.  Jensie loved the Dumbo ride and was scared at the haunted house while Jackson loved the haunted house and his favorite ride was the Transformers 3D ride.  He also was pretty happy that we met up with his friend, Sarah at Downtown Disney one day and another at Magic Kingdom. He rode Big Thunder Mountain twice for her. We also went to Lego Land, which was pretty good.  Overall a great trip.  Halloween was fun too, especially because Meemo carried Jensie to every house in our neighborhood.  She really got a work out.  Take a look at all our photos

Aug and Sept 2013

Jackson has started 1st grade with Mrs. Fox.  Jensie has been working hard learning as well.  She keeps me extremely busy, which is why this post is so short, she is helping me type it.  Take a look at some pictures.

July 2013 Jackson turns 7!

Another great month for us.  Lots of trips to Blue Ridge.  Jackson went to soccer camp with his cousin, Finn and another camp to learn about solar powered cars.  He spent his birthday with a few friends and went on the Duck Tour of Chattanooga and ate at Mellow Mushroom.  He had a great day, then we went down to Statesboro, where he had another celebration with cousins, Valor, Atlas, and Merit.  We left him there to spend another week all by himself with his Amma, Lolo, and Meemo.  Jensie enjoyed her stay at Amma and Lolo's and was sad to leave Jackson.  She came home with her ears pierced, her Amma and Aunt Meemo are completely responsible.  Take a look at the photos.

June 2013- Happy Birthday Jensie

What a fun month.  We started out in Blue Ridge doing some fishing and hanging out with cousin Bryce.  We made a few bombs and art projects.  Jackson went golfing with his dad a few times and even assisted in a real tournament where his dad's team came in 2nd.  We celebrated Jensie's 2nd birthday with a trip to Gatlinburg with her Yaya, Pop, Mari, and cousins Mandy, Ella, Atticus and Finn.  Of course, her parents and Jackson were there too.  We had a blast.  We enjoyed the water park and the kids rode go-carts, even the big kids, Pop & Mari. Then, the next day we headed for Hilton Head and just relaxed at the beach and pool.  Jensie celebrated her birthday here with her Ama, Lolo, and Ama Bei. Jackson got Pop pretty good while he was sleeping.  We then went right back to Blue Ridge for cousin Katie's wedding and more fun, Pop and Mari rode in a helicopter around Fannin County.  We ended the month with a camping trip to Lake Conasauga with cousins, Chris, Meaghan, Callie, Garrison, Beth, Brent and Bryce.  Meme, or aunt Mary rode up for the evening.  Jackson caught a fish and Jensie loved swimming in the cold water.  Take a look at photos from June.

May 2013

Jackson graduated from Kindergarten.  HIs cousins, Kingston, Grayson, and Hamilton all came and spent a few days with us. We did a few experiments once school was out and went to Blue Ridge.   Legos were a big part of the month. Take a look at photos from May.

We celebrated Yaya's birthday and Easter.  We had a cupcake decorating contest and enjoyed all the cool things the Easter bunny brought.  We went to the circus with some friends. Take a look at some photos.

Happy Valentine's Day!

The kids had a fabulous Valentine's Day. Jensie got a special flower from her dad and lip gloss from Jackson among other things.  Jackson got a razor and candy.  Take a look at the photos.

Not too much to report.  Jackson is really into Robots and trying to make them work.   Jensie loves Hello Kitty, and of course favorite animal sound is meow.  She also loves anything girly.  She keeps getting into my lip stick and loves to try on anyone's shoes.  She also really likes to play with water and pouring into different size cups.  Take a look at some photos.
