Thanksgiving at the Peplinski's

November started out with Jackson's buddy Michael coming over to play, Jackson had to show off his red car. Then uncle Rob made a surprise visit. We enjoyed his visit so much, Jackson even got a bite of a Krispy Kreme doughnut from Rob, so Jackson was sad to see him leave. Then we spent Thanksgiving at our friends, where Michael had to show off his red car to Jackson. We had such a wonderful time with all our favorite Thanksgiving foods. Pumpkin Picking and Halloween

Jackson went on a cold, windy day to pick out his pumpkins. He chose a tiny one, a medium one and a large pumpkin. He tried to take a bite out of the tiny one, which he decovered not even his sharp teeth could cut all the way into. He was an indian for Halloween and Pop decided to call him Little Red Wing, which is after a song that Granny Callihan used to sing. The boys at Kidcity

Jackson and Michael had their weekly adventure together. They went to KidCity and had a blast. It was pretty crowded and I'm pretty sure the moms were worn out that day. They enjoyed lunch where they had a chance to display their one year old manners, we couldn't help but laugh and the couples around us seemed to enjoy the entertainment. Jackson's October

More fun for Jackson. He has been taking long walks to the mail box and inspecting the fallen leaves, he even helped me rack a few. He is getting faster and faster. His favorite book is Goodnight Baby where he gets to match all the baby animals with their mother. Click to see photos of Jackson.

Eco Tarium, Zoo, & the North Shore

Jackson spent the first couple of weeks in October visiting the EcoTarium with his buddy Michael and then he went to Stone Zoo where he saw some very interesting animals. Jackson has been pretty busy since we've been home. Although he took his first steps in Georgia he really only took off walking once he got home. He discovered he loved pork fried rice and stuffed shells. Steps are his favorite activity right now and playing with all his toys he got for his birthday. Summer is coming to an end and Jackson has been enjoying outside while he can. He has not stopped traveling since he has been home as he has been on a search for a new home. Jackson is always keeping us on our toes and I'll try to keep the blog more updated in the coming months. Here are the photos I have to show.

Adam & Lauren's Wedding

Jackson got a chance to meet more family members and friends at Adam and Lauren's wedding before he had to fly back home. He made a stop in Atlanta to meet up with some old friends and family members. Take a look at the photos.

4th of July

Jackson started the week out by visiting the Beluga Whales. He has spent lots of time outside playing with his new tunnel. Jackson is 11 months old

Jackson has spent his first week of summer having fun outside. He played at the park with his friend Michael and played ball with his dad in our backyard. He loves to go for rides in his car down our drive way. Click photos to see Jackson having fun in the sun.

Father's Day

Michael had a pretty good Father's Day. He was pretty tired from his trip, but glad to play with Jackson. Here are some photos of Jackson.

Lolo and Jackson

Jackson was sad to see Lolo go home. Michael had to go to L.A., so Lolo decided to extend his stay. Lolo watched Jackson, took him for walks, and feed him while I got several projects done around the house. Click to see photos of Jackson and Lolo.

Michael and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this past weekend. Lolo came up to watch Jackson while Michael and I enjoyed dinner out, a sailboat ride in Newport and we went to the movies. It was a wonderful weekend. Click to see some photos of the weekend.

Happy Memorial Day!

Jackson has been up to a lot since we left Georgia. He has his top two teeth in. His favorite thing to do is empty containers, cabinets, laundry baskets, book shelves or whatever of their contents. Jackson rode a horse for the first time and he loved it. He spent a few days with Aunt Martha and hung out with Grammy at work one afternoon. Click to see photos of Jackson.

Jackson goes to Statesboro

Jackson had the best time at Lolo and Ama's house. He loved hanging out with Lolo and enjoyed shopping with Ama. Auntie Mad gave him lots of kisses and was the only one who would carry Jackson around long enough for him to take a nap while I got a manicure and pedicure. Jackson got to play with his big cousin, Valor, who refers to him as baby Jack. They were so sweet together and we know Valor will make a great older brother. We were hopeing Olivia would go into labor while we were down, but Atlas had other plans. Congrats to the Aseron & O'Mahoney family on the birth of Atlas born April 26, 2007. Jackson wishes Kailey a Happy 1st Birthday!

Jackson's trip to Georgia

Jackson started his trip off to a bad start with a little cold. The flight was ok but the first couple of days in Georgia were a little rough on Jackson. He played with his cousins Mandy, Atticus, Finn, Ella, Lexie, Magan, Joselyn, Bryce, Kelsey, Beth and Brent and was feeling better for Wendy's wedding where he had a great time. Spring is here!

March weather has been filled with lion and lamb like days. We had a few days in the 60's and then a few snow storms a couple of days later. Jackson is doing great. His favorite thing to do is pull my hair, or pull on anything if he thinks it will help him stand. He is currently crawling from room to room to explore. He has his first tooth which he has only tested out on mom and dad a few times. Click to see lots of photos and videos.

All about Jackson at 7 months old

Jackson has been busy the week he turned 7 months old. He is now pulling himself up, he can get out of his Bumbo chair, and is noticing more and more dangerous knobs out there. As you will notice in our monthly photo session on the zoo quilt, Jackson has made it pretty difficult to get a picture of him being still and looking up at me. We have had a few small snow storms, just enough to get Jackson all dressed up in his snow suits. Jackson still loves to meet new people, he has made all kinds of friends for me in the ladies bathroom at the mall. I got lots of pictures and videos of the past few weeks.

Trip to Foxwoods

So I spent the second year in a row with my friend Rebecca on Valentine's Day. This year was a little different, we had our boys with us. We had a great time at Foxwoods and the boys loved the excitement that surrounded us. As you can see Jackson is trying very hard to get Michael's attention. Jackson has been working on his crawling skills, he hasn't perfected the act yet, but he sure can make it across the room. Look at some photos of our past week.
