Merry Christmas!

Jackson enjoyed his very first Christmas. He got everything on his list and more. He wanted to thank everyone for making this a special Christmas. Look at some of Jackson's pictures opening his gifts and just hanging out at home.

Jackson tests out a few of his Christmas gifts.

When Grammy was here she went Christmas shopping for Jackson. We let Jackson try out some of his gifts before we wrapped them and put them under the tree. Amma had sent a special package with a "My First Christmas" outfit and some special ornaments, which Jackson figured out how to get off the Christmas tree. Here are some pictures of Jackson playing with his gifts. Here are more pictures of what Jackson's been up to these past couple of weeks.

Grammy comes to visit and Michael and Julie go to a Christmas Party!

Grammy came up and took care of Jackson while we got to go out for the night. She spent a long weekend here and was such a big help. Jackson decided to show off for his Grammy. He has been rolling over from his stomach to back for over a month, yet hasn't done it in a while, then he shows her how he can roll from stomach to back and then from back to stomach. I try pretty hard to get him to laugh, Michael has his own tricks to get Jackson laughing, but all Grammy had to do was look at Jackson and he thought she was hilarious. She told one of her famous stories that was passed down from her mother, Beansie and Peasie, and Jackson laughed through the entire story. I was able to catch that on video tape. Michael and I enjoyed our night out. The party was in Providence and we stayed the night and went to the Cheese Cake Factory the next day. Look at the photos of my sweet baby.

Jackson is now 4 months old

We went to Jackson's 4 month appointment and he weighs 16 pounds and is 25 1/4 inches long. We've been experimenting with different ways to get Jackson to sleep in his crib and my favorite is to let him jump in his jumperoo until he just can’t stay awake any longer. We also have been experimenting with different hairdos, but I think we’ll keep the old style for now. See more photos.
